Brazil, August 23, 2024 – TVU Networks, a leader in cloud-based remote production and live broadcasting, has been selected to provide the technological infrastructure for the 32nd edition of Sertões, the largest rally in the Americas. This event, running from August 23 to 31, marks the fourth consecutive year LiveSports will handle the streaming, now with TVU Networks’ support.

LiveSports will deliver two daily live bulletins hosted by experts in the Sertões universe. These updates will cover the eight stages of the competition, spanning over 3,800 km across various Brazilian regions, from the cerrado to the sertão. Each stage will be meticulously tracked, offering real-time updates on competitors’ progress, track conditions, and challenges.

João Palomino, CEO of LiveSports, states, “Our partnership with TVU Networks is crucial for the quality and innovation we bring to our broadcasts. TVU’s cutting-edge technology allows us to operate in remote and challenging locations without compromising coverage quality.”

The “Levanta Poeira” and “Baixa Poeira” programs will air daily for four hours, with top-tier remote production managed directly from the LiveSports studio in São Paulo. “Levanta Poeira,” hosted by Suzi Martins and Ale Oliveira, will air from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, offering an overview of the competition’s early hours. “Baixa Poeira,” also hosted by the duo, will conclude the day’s competitions with broadcasts from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, featuring interviews, behind-the-scenes stories, and a detailed summary of each rally stage. Fans can follow the entire coverage, fully immersive, for free on the Sertões YouTube channels, NSports, and Grande Prêmio.

In addition to the daily bulletins, LiveSports and TVU Networks are collaborating on the broadcast of the Super Prime Sertões, taking place in Brasília on August 23. The live coverage will be transmitted to BandSports and SporTV via TVU MediaHub, TVU Networks’ cloud-based routing platform, ensuring efficient and real-time distribution.

“For this crucial stage, six TVU One units will transmit the signal directly from Brasília to the LiveSports Hub in São Paulo. From there, the signal will be distributed to broadcasters through TVU MediaHub, an advanced cloud-based signal routing platform. TVU MediaHub not only facilitates signal distribution to multiple outputs but also enables real-time management, ensuring that content reaches its destinations with quality and low latency. This solution offers an intuitive interface and supports multiple media formats, making the distribution process more agile and efficient,” explained Fábio Lonardi, Operations Coordinator at LiveSports.

Eduardo Mune, Director of Sales at TVU Networks, adds, “We are thrilled to collaborate with LiveSports on the Sertões coverage this year. With TVU MediaHub, we are enhancing the competition’s signal distribution to various platforms, significantly increasing content accessibility for fans. Our technology is designed to ensure that, regardless of location or conditions, the audience enjoys rich, detailed live coverage.”
