High-Profile Events such as National Days and the Chinese New Year to be Featured in Upcoming Live Feeds
View Related ProductsMOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – January 26, 2022 – TVU Networks, the market and technology leader in cloud and IP-based live video solutions, announced that live, HD video feeds of events held during the global festival Expo Dubai 2020 will now be accessible through TVU MediaSource, a cloud-based platform for live and archived rights-enabled video content from global media organizations. Expo organizers cited larger audience numbers from the event’s TVU feeds than through traditional satellite methods.
TVU Networks is in partnership with Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), host broadcaster of the Expo 2020 Dubai, to provide footage from the festival which began October 1st and runs through March 31. Held every five years in different cities, World Expo’s share groundbreaking inventions and technology designed to address common challenges facing humanity.
High-profile events such as scheduled National Days commemorating the cultural contributions and leaders of particular countries are among the live footage available through TVU MediaSource. This month’s National Days include celebrations for more than 30 countries, including India (today, January 26), Canada (January 28), Australia (January 29), and New Zealand (January 31). Concerts and ceremonies celebrating the Chinese New Year (February 1) will be held next month, as will performances by noted musicians, dancers, politicians, and business leaders.

Two live video sources from Dubai TV are being offered to TVU MediaSource and TVU Grid customers, and footage from the festival is available to all TVU Search subscribers for free.
