TVU Networks’ live broadcast setup showcasing the advanced technology used to distribute Emaar’s New Year’s Eve celebration at Burj Khalifa globally.

The implementation leveraged TVU’s cloud broadcast ecosystem, creating a seamless workflow from capture to global distribution. At the heart of the operation, TVU Producer managed multiple live feeds transmitted via TVU RPS One 5G field units, enabling multi-camera cloud production with sub-second latency and perfect frame accuracy. This advanced setup ensured flawless live coverage of the breathtaking nine-minute show. The feed was distributed through two primary channels: TVU Grid, a professional IP video distribution network connecting thousands of media organizations globally, delivering high-quality, low-latency content to multiple locations simultaneously; and TVU Search, an AI-powered cloud platform that provides instant access, clipping, downloading, and distribution rights to the live feed from any laptop, regardless of output format.

Supporting the entire process, TVU MediaHub acted as a universal cloud-based routing solution, managing the signal flow between diverse video format inputs and outputs. Emad Qawasmi, Managing Director – Middle East & North Africa Region at TVU Networks, remarked: “This integrated approach ensured the nine-minute spectacle, featuring fireworks, laser displays, and Dubai Fountain performances, was distributed in HD quality with ultra-low latency to complement existing distribution channels. This collaboration demonstrates how innovation in IP-based distribution continues to enhance live event capabilities.”

The technological implementation opens new possibilities for live content distribution. This solution sets a new standard for world-class event delivery, combining seamless access to broadcast technology with superior quality transmission.
