Paul Shen is a distinguished expert in the field of digital video and a highly successful serial entrepreneur. His notable achievements include founding and leading Imedia Corporation, a pioneer in digital video communication. Under his leadership, Imedia Corporation developed the CherryPicker, the first statistical re-multiplexer, which became integral to digital television distribution in both cable and satellite TV services. This innovation significantly influenced the industry and led to Imedia's acquisition by Terayon in 1999.
Before his work at Imedia, Paul played a key role in defining the hardware architecture for General Instrument's first all-digital television system and the inaugural digital high-definition television (HDTV) system. His expertise and contributions extended to serving as General Instrument's representative to the MPEG Committee, where he chaired the MPEG4 Syntax Group and spearheaded the development of a new object-oriented descriptive language.

Dan Lofgren’s career spans over 20 years in Silicon Valley's high technology companies, first as a software engineer and engineering manager, then as a product manager. He’s worked for both software and hardware companies, in Internet services, telecommunications, e-commerce, and digital video, and has also consulted (as owner of Numerate Solutions) on quantitative marketing topics such as pricing and ROI. Dan was most recently VP of Product Management for TVU Networks. Dan spent four years as VP of Product Management at Open Harbor (web services for international trade facilitation); before that, he was Director of Product Management at Beyond.com, an e-commerce company. Dan has a B.S. in Applied Math from Yale.
Chris Bell is responsible for spearheading TVU Network’s mission to ensure every transmission from TVUPack is successful. Chris has 22 years of IT support and management experience with a solid reputation for building world class support organizations. Prior to joining TVU Networks, he was Director of Technical Operations for Time Warner Cable, overseeing all IT, Engineering, and Operations for four television channels in three top 50 US markets. Before Time Warner, Chris spent 8 years with Compaq and Hewlett Packard in a variety of management roles and was heavily involved in launching both PCMCIA and 802.11 technology across Europe. Chris is based in TVU Networks’ North Carolina office.
Matt McEwen leads the TVU Networks Product Management team. He has over 17 years of experience developing award-winning broadcast and professional video products. Prior to TVU Networks, Matt was Director of Product Management at Focus Enhancements, Inc., a leading manufacturer of professional video solutions that was acquired by Vitec Multimedia in 2010. While at Focus, Matt was responsible for multiple product lines including the award winning line of FireStore DTE Recorders, which was a key technology in the transition to tapeless acquisition in the broadcast market. Before Focus, Matt held various product management, marketing and technical positions at Videonics, Production Audio Video Technology (Australia) and Ampex. Matt has a BA from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.
Rafael Castillo leads TVU Networks in Latin America and EMEA. He brings over 20 years of executive experience in media and digital content acquisition, management, production and distribution. Rafael has led the Latin American region for some of the most successful technology companies for the media and entertainment industry. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Latin America and Caribbean for Snell Advanced Media, as well as Vice President of Latin America for SeaChange International. Previously, Castillo worked for Grass Valley for 18 years, including seven years in the role of SVP, Latin America. Entrepreneurial and passionate about driving dynamic teams on a sustainable path of success.
Matt Keiler has over 20 years of experience in media, enterprise software and sports markets. Matt has vast experience with IP-based workflows across many industries. Prior to TVU Networks, he spent 7 years at Automatic Data Processing (ADP) leading enterprise software sales and channel development in the Midwest. Matt also spent 6 years with Tribune Company, NBC Sports Network and FOX Sports Net in a variety of affiliate sales roles. He has a BA from Ohio University.
